We are currently seeking a dependable and growth-driven floor-covering installer to join our growing company in Calhoun, GA. CFR holds installations to the highest of standards and aims to always provide exceptional service. Traveling opportunities abound while working in this position. Installers will be working with all types of floor-covering products for commercial remodels and new construction projects. 

Responsibilities
• Complete all aspects of floor-covering projects, including demolition, sub-floor preparation, flooring installation, trim work and more.
• Representing CFR in a professional manner while interacting with customers on the job site.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other contractors while maintaining excellent service through job completion.
• Problem-solve issues that may arise in the field in order to continue work-flow and maintain deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with the installation manager, providing updates on project completion, unexpected job-site situations, etc.
• Maintain company provided van, tools, and work environment as if they were your own.
• Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Interested in learning or have to experience in tile, carpet, vinyl, stone, polished concrete, resinous coatings.
• Growth opportunities available from apprentice, foreman, to field supervisor.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in maintenance and assembling/ disassembling of electronic equipment and at least intermediate computer skills. We are seeking a Mechanic's Assistant who will be able to assist our lead mechanic to keep up the maintenance on our small engine devices, some vehicle maintenance, as well as minor building maintenance. Our ideal candidate will have both electrical and mechanical skills as well as small engine repair, hydraulics, and basic tool knowledge. 

Responsibilities
• Intermediate computer skills required (must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system)
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
• Experience within the flooring industry desired
• Experience in maintenance, repairs, assembling, and disassembling equipment preferred
• Possess strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
• Ability to work in a group setting and possess strong professional acumen
• Ability to work required schedules and travel to sites
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• The ability to handle up to 100 pounds
• Responsible for assisting in order retrieval
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Must have the ability to drive a 26ft manual transmission box truck.
• Availability to drive out of town from time to time is required.
• A CDL is preferred but is not required.
• Looking for someone with a good attitude who can multi-task and is dependable, honest, and trustworthy.
• Overtime is available with this position.

Responsibilities
• The employee must be able to perform the following warehouse operations error-free with little direction/supervision
• receive in product and stock on appropriate shelves
• thoroughly read work orders
• build and assemble special order kits
• Understand and use an internal computer system
• Complete training on operational procedures
• Maintain and organize all required paperwork
• Inspect the physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Report any defects or needed repairs to their manager
• Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing
• Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities
• Participate in performing shelf audits, cycle counts, and the yearly physical inventory with the ability to research inaccuracies

Responsibilities
• An Estimator should have strong mathematical skills, accurate, and adaptable.
• Receive requests for estimating and gather the necessary information -plans, bidding manuals, specifications, revisions to jobs in progress, etc.
• Identify scope gaps and clarify specifications with general contractors, architects and designers.
• Estimate floor plans to prepare complete bid packages using estimating and bidding software.
• Gather and interpret necessary information from diagrams to ensure the entire scope of flooring installation work is accounted for and properly executed.
• Communicate with internal and external sources, and be ready to work flexible hours to ensure project deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.
• Consistently strive to improve individual capabilities, performance and expand knowledge of construction technologies, techniques and the industry’s ever-changing product offers.

The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for managing all aspects of flooring installation from floor preparation to coating. The FS must be knowledgeable in all phases of the installation and operation of all equipment, processes, and flooring materials. He/she must be able to manage and instruct crews to accomplish the desired end result in accordance with the product quality standards established by CFR. 

Responsibilities
• Oversees all phases of the installation process, taking digital photos throughout, and responsible for ensuring completion of all required inspections.
• Meets regularly with CFR project managers to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve outstanding problems or issues, as needed.
• Assists the CFR project managers on pre-site evaluations to ensure that any site concerns are addressed.
• Performs pre-site inspections on all projects prior to implementation to ensure that all facets of the project have been identified and documented to eliminate the possibility of potential installation problems. Ensures compliance with the use of all safety-related equipment on the job site as required by the OSHA and CFR Safety Programs.
• Schedule and assign resources and team member responsibilities.
• Manage on-site conditions
• Manage materials on the job site.
• FS is responsible for evaluating the performance of installation crews for each phase. Takes immediate corrective action when the workmanship is found to be sub-standard. If an individual or crew fails to respond and correct the problem, the FS is to report the event to the Project manager for further action.
• Continuously ensures customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
• Regular travel required for this position
• Other projects and duties as required/assigned.

Qualifications
• Five years of experience as a Field Supervisor in the installation of floor covering, polish concrete, and coatings or related field.
• Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to overcome customer objections.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office; strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Proficient in using an iPad.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Willingness to accept change and take initiative to create positive change within the scope of job responsibilities.
• Able to effectively deal with rigors of stress and disappointments in a calm, unemotional manner.
